On the west side of
Sark and separated by only a few yards of fast flowing tidal water stands the Island of Brecqhou. This small and private island welcomes
Sark Island Hotels' guests to its gardens from spring through to autumn.
Brecqhou’s own boats transport guests speedily and safely from Sark to the delightful stone harbour where they are made welcome. The tour begins here with the ascent of the cobbled road that takes you onto the main part of the island - and for those with disabilities, electric buggies are available.
Guests depart from Sark’s harbour at 10am for the short boat ride that takes about 15 minutes and are scheduled to leave Brecqhou for Sark at 1pm. Arrangements can be made with your hotel for the provision of a later lunch and refreshments. Trips operate during the months of British Summer Time and can be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions without prior notification.
