This small rocky beach is a good spot for an early morning swim, as the sun will leave here by early afternoon. Bathing is best on a high tide, right off the landing steps, as low water will expose the seaweed covered rocks below.
Grève de la Ville is easily reached from the Village and the descent is a gentle, but sometimes slippery slope that zig-zags down the cliff. In Spring this trail is beautifully lined with daisies, buttercups, primroses and bluebells.
The beach itself is dotted with a number of large boulders and on a low tide there are several caves to be explored at the far end of the beach. Grève de la Ville is also a popular mooring spot and in the summer months will always have an array of boats floating out in the bay.
