The Eperquerie landing is a perfect picnic spot. There are several large, flat rocks here to recline on and the man-made rock pool at the bottom of the landing is filled with fish, shrimp, crabs and other sea creatures.
This is a great place for kids to bring their nets or fishing rods and spend the afternoon wading in the water. The views from L'Eperquerie are stunning, encompassing all the islands of the Bailiwick and the coast of France.
On a clear day you can make out everything from the white sand of Herm's Shell Beach to the distant cliffs of Alderney.
The walk down is fairly long but easy, with several benches and lookout point along the way.
